Soft script belongs on the name line of a bio, the first line someone reads under the profile photo. A first name or a two-word phrase stays legible in curls. A whole sentence does not. Keep the job title and the city on the next lines in ordinary letters so the profile still scans on a phone. The Instagram font generator is the wider tool when the same letters need to go in a caption or a comment. Before you paste, read the preview out loud. If you cannot tell the letters apart, pick a cleaner card in this group.

Heavy letters belong on the name line when the bio should read at a glance in a busy grid. Use one bold word for the name, then leave the next line plain so the eye has a place to rest. Outline and typewriter cards are the quieter options in this group if solid black feels too loud next to your photos. Do not bold every line. A bio that is entirely heavy type is harder to scan than a plain one, and it still costs the same 150 characters. Save the bold card for the word you want remembered.

Circled letters work as a single accent on the name line, not as the whole bio. One bubbled word draws the eye. A full sentence of circles becomes a row of bubbles that is slow to read. Parentheses and soft squares are the milder cards when a dark circle feels too thick. The bubble text generator has more enclosed styles if you want the same look on a caption opener. Leave the lines under the name in plain text, and skip bubbles on a link or an email address.

Tiny letters and small caps fit the second and third lines, where you list what you do, a city, or a short offer. They take the same character count as full-size letters, but they look quieter under a bold or script name. Use the small text generator when a line is running long and you want it to feel like a caption under the name rather than a second headline. Do not set the name itself in superscript. People should be able to read who you are without zooming.

Hearts and stars belong around a short name, not around a paragraph. A frame on the first line makes the profile feel decorated. The same frame on every line eats the character budget and looks noisy. Put the name inside one frame, then write the next line in plain letters. Kawaii text styles are the letter shapes if you want the word itself to look cute before you add a border. If a heart shows up as an empty box on your phone, drop the frame and keep the letters.
Copied styles land here so you can grab them again.
Instagram limits a bio to 150 characters. A styled letter counts as one character, the same as a plain letter. Spaces, hearts, stars, and a line break count too. Press Enter in the bio field to start a new line. A practical layout is three short lines: the name in one style, what you do in plain text, then a city or a link. Do not style all three. Count the preview, including the breaks, before you paste. If you are over the cap, shorten the plain lines first and keep the name.
Instagram bio fonts are Unicode letters you copy into the bio field. Instagram has no font menu there, so the style has to live in the characters. Type a short name, pick a card, and paste it on the first line of the bio.
Yes. Every card on this page is free to copy. There is no account and no font file to buy. Paste the line into Edit profile. Instagram's own rules still apply to what you post.
Instagram allows 150 characters in the bio. A styled letter counts as one character, the same as a plain letter. Spaces, hearts, stars, and a line break count too. Shorten the plain lines first if you go over.
Open Edit profile, tap the bio box, and press Enter where the next line should start. A useful split is the name on line one, what you do on line two, and a city or link on line three. Style only the name line.
Put one short style on the name line. Soft script fits a gentle profile. Bold fits a name that should be readable in a busy grid. A heart frame fits a name of one or two words. Leave the lines under it in plain text.
Use circled letters for a single accent word, usually the name. A whole bio of bubbles is slow to read and spends the 150-character cap on decoration. Keep the lines under that word in ordinary type.
Tiny letters and small caps take the same character count as full-size letters. They look quieter, which helps on the second line under a bold name. They do not raise the 150-character limit.
Common bold, script, and circled letters show on current iPhones and Android phones. If a card draws an empty box, copy a more common card and paste again. Check the public profile after you save.
No. The @username only accepts letters, numbers, periods, and underscores. Put the styled line in the name or the bio. Leave the handle plain so people can still search and tag you.
This page is only about the bio: which line gets a style, how line breaks work, and how the 150-character cap fills up. The Instagram font generator also covers captions, comments, and display names.
