Cute Font Generator respects your privacy on cutefontgen.com and in the Chrome extension. Text you type is converted locally and is not uploaded to our servers.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains what information Cute Font Generator collects — and what it does not — when you use cutefontgen.com or the Cute Font Generator Chrome extension. Our core tool transforms plain text into Unicode font styles entirely on your device. The website is static, with no user accounts and no backend database. The extension is packaged code that runs locally in Chrome.
Information We Do Not Collect
Cute Font Generator does not require registration, login, or any personal information to use the font tools. We do not operate contact forms that store submissions on our servers, and we do not run a comment system.
We do not collect, store, or receive the text you enter into the generator. Conversion happens in your browser using JavaScript. We have no way to read what you type unless you choose to email us separately through our contact page.
Information Collected by Third Parties
Although we do not collect your personal data directly, third-party services embedded on or used to deliver this site may collect certain information automatically.
Google Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people use the site. Google may collect usage data such as the pages you visit, referring site, approximate location, and browser or device type. See the Analytics section below for details and opt-out options.
Google AdSense. cutefontgen.com currently does not load Google AdSense code or show personalized ads. Empty ad-slot placeholders exist in the page markup for a possible future placement, but adsbygoogle is not present and no advertising cookies are set by us today. If we later enable AdSense, Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies as described in Google's policies, and we will update this page.
Hosting and delivery. Our static files are served through standard web hosting infrastructure. Like most websites, the hosting provider may record routine server logs (such as IP address, request time, and user agent) for security, reliability, and troubleshooting. We do not link those logs to individual generator input.
Google AdSense
We have reserved space for ads, but we do not currently load AdSense or display personalized advertisements on cutefontgen.com. The generator stays free without an advertising script today.
If that changes, Google may use data it collects to provide advertising services. See the Google Privacy Policy and Google Ads Settings for how Google handles ads data.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-7TQKWZC4KT) to see which pages people visit and how they move around cutefontgen.com. The Google tag loads from Google’s servers and may set cookies described above. Typical data includes page views, referring site, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, and whether you are a new or returning visitor. Google Analytics 4 does not store full IP addresses in reports. We do not send the text you type into the generator to Google Analytics.
Google processes this data under its own policies. See the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, or by blocking analytics cookies in your browser.
Chrome Extension
The Cute Font Generator Chrome extension performs the same Unicode conversion on your device. It does not include Google Analytics, advertising, or any other remote script. It does not transmit the text you type, your copies, or your theme choice to us or to any third party.
The extension may save your current draft, your light or dark theme, and up to ten recent copies in Chrome’s local storage so they are still there the next time you open the side panel. That data stays on your device. Uninstalling the extension removes it. Clicking Copy writes the styled text to your clipboard only.
The extension does not read the pages you visit, does not access your accounts, and does not request permission to see browsing history or site content. Its only permission opens the generator in Chrome’s side panel.
Children's Privacy
Cute Font Generator is not directed at children under 13 years of age, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us through our contact page and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, legal requirements, or third-party services. When we make changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of cutefontgen.com after an update means you accept the revised policy.
